    POSITION PURPOSE:

    Coordinates communication and information, answers switchboard, and redirects incoming calls.  Also coordinates the announcement of overhead paging for codes in emergency situations.  In addition, takes and distributes messages for hospital employees

    Qualifications

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    Licenses or Certifications: 

    Total Education, Vocational Training, and Experience: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.    

     

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Must possess excellent telephone and reception skills;

    Ability to handle several tasks at one time;

    Well organized, responsible, and resourceful;

    Excellent verbal and communication skills required.

    Position has No Access to Protected Health Information of patients on Rehabilitation Unit and in Outpatient
